Train Like The First Lady This Memorial Day Weekend

So what’re you doing this Memorial Day weekend?

Are you barbequing? Hanging with friends? Well, so are we…

But do you know WHY we have an extra day off to do this?

We have a three day weekend upon us because our country has asked us to take a day to remember and honor the men and women who have put their lives on the line to protect our freedom.

So how are you going to do that?

Well, we know how our First Lady will… she’s going to sweat her butt off while kickboxing!

Her message behind the post was that it’s important to make sure you are working out both correctly and in a safe manner. She stresses the importance of learning how to use the gym before you actually do. There are a ton of things you could do to hurt yourself, but some of the less severe and more common injuries include:

  • ■ Sprained ankle/wrist
  • ■ Shin splints
  • ■ Shoulder injury
  • ■ Knee injury
  • Pulled muscles
  • ■ Tendinitis

These aren’t the only injuries that can occur, and they are most definitely not the worst it can get. So be careful and take precaution by:
